I paid to have them installed on our 3 slide toyhauler. Wouldn't have an RV without them. No messing with cleaning the top of the slide to remove the leaves, acorns, pine cones, etc. They help keep the interior of the toyhauler cool by keeping the sun off the slide tops.
No cons, since I don't worry about the rain that may, or may not, pool in them. It becomes a non-issue when the slides come in and does no harm in the meantime.
