I completly get the ops post. We had a big rig before (37' fifth with 4 slides) but now have a really big rig (44' and change triple axle with 4 slides). The definition of big rig is completely different. With the shorter rig we could get into some tight spots and had enough manueverability to get out of bad spots. With this new rig I better be sure I know where I am going because my only escape will be reverse.
We have found that three tools in this order are best for us... campgroundviews.com, Google satellite view (from within the aforementioned website), and rv park reviews. When I don't follow all those steps I have what happened to us yesterday occur... koa reserved us into their 80' pull thru site. Truck and trailer barely fit and I was sent down a lane requiring a three point to make the turn. I went ahead and sent some video to campgroundviews so others will be able to see a first person perspective. Frankly I am tired of the written review thing I hate having to read a review, read their past reviews, and interpret their emotional state of mind to determine if what they say is valid... just show me it from a campers perspective and I am good.
