I love that sound. I fall asleep listening to it practically every night in my sticks and bricks house -- it's become sort of eerily comforting. They traipse though the property on occasion, luckily our dog alerts us but is smart enough to keep his distance. They did eat our cat several years ago and because of that we've not gotten another. Oddly, I don't ever remember hearing them while camping, but if I did, I wouldn't be alarmed. Enjoy the moment.
