I carry a 24" Craftsman breaker bar 3" extension, and a 12 ton bottle jack. I also have a HFT torque wrench to put the spare back on with.
I am to impatient to wait for road service, further on in life I may want to wait.
Same here. As we're leaving on a couple thousand mile trip my DW asks: "have you ever had a flat tire?" My response was take it back, don't jinx the trip. But no, she goes on about not meaning on a TV and 5er. Well, as it happens we are at the end of the trip, 40 miles from home and the right rear 5er china bomb goes. 95 degrees out, on an off ramp with plenty of room and no traffic, AAA says over an hour to respond. Over DW's objections I have the tire changed and we're back on the road 20 minutes after I tell her to call back and cancel. Stop at the truck stop about 5 miles down the road to check air and such, there's the AAA guy.
