Some folks just "Have" to have electrical hookups....
Saw this in the adjacent site at Cape Blanco on the southern Oregon coast and just could not resist taking the shot. :B :B :B

Or they just run them directly off of 12 volts: many CPAP machines have 12 volt inputs, unbeknownst to their owners. Much more efficient to run them that way than the inefficiencies inherent in inverting 12v to 120v, and then back down to the low voltages used inside the machine.
