Some folks just "Have" to have electrical hookups....

How primative, can you imagine scrubbing the entire side of the camper with that little brush?

Must be a northwestern thing. This summer, Dash Point State Park, a huge pull through site with one little car, a small tent & the power pole to charge the cellphone.

Have these people never heard of small car inverters?

Plenty of tent appropriate sites available. Meanwhile RVs are getting turned away at the gate because there are no sites available for them. The state is losing business with empty sites.

I've seen people on tent sites with portable generators and little TVs inside the tent.

That is why I use a gasoline powered one, then I dont have to have hookups.

Not even plugged in. But my rechargable can go for a week before it quits.

Well....since I am in the dental profession, I will admit that we have a top of the line electric toothbrush in our rig. Laugh if you wish, but only if you can show them pearly whites. :B

I actually forgot and left a powered toothbrush once like that.

When I was deploying a mobile communications unit for the Navy, the Army pukes refused to let us use power to brew coffee. We had our own 35KW generators. It seemed strange to brew one pot of coffee plugged in to a 35KW generator but that's what we did.
