Great news... we found our dream Class C, a 2012 Nexus Phantom 23P (with just 6200 miles), right here in Tucson this morning. I had been unable to find any used ones west of the Mississippi until 0630 this morning when it suddenly popped up as a La Mesa RV trade in.
Thought I had my TT sold last night but after agreeing to drop our price $500 this morning the buyers decided to "pull back to think about it." La Mesa RV gave me their lowest, best out the door don't even think about asking for anything lower, cash only price which frankly sounded pretty good based upon my extensive research. After a couple of calls they managed to find a buyer for my TT and we managed to agree on a full price trade in for my TT. The backtracking would be buyers can KMA, but I digress. :B
I'll be dropping off a Franklin and a case of beer to my friend at the consignment lot for his efforts over the last 4 days but could not pass up the trade LMRV offered. I have nothing but good things to say about LMRV. At all times they treated me with respect, courtesy and the willingness to say " I don't know but I'll find out usually followed by "sure, we can do that." In addition to the fine price and trade their creativity saved me nearly $500 in sales tax (you only pay on the difference between the trade and the new sale). A competitive interest rate (a Fico of 812 helps a lot), accompanied by minimal paperwork made for smooth sailing.
Ironically since all of our income is derived from my wife's retirement and SSN {as mine does not kick in until late this year}, (did I mention that after 43 years I still love her a lot?) :B we had to redo the credit app forms with her signing first followed by me.... as Oprah would say: You go girl!" :W
I promise better pics in a few days but here she is, now if we can just come up with a great name... suggestions???
