Here is where I have been a "participant" in loading up a vehicle.

That is me and the wife on the island of Boracay in the Philippines. The driver put us both in the front as he said that if I was in the back it might tip rearward. Our luggage for three week trip and a hired tour guide was in the back. A little rain was falling so the side curtains were down. At 6'3" it was a tight fit!
We repeated this type of trip in Kalibo when the van driver got sick, I then drove the van and him to a hospital and then I hired another one of these to get us to the airport in time to catch our plane.

I counted as high as 15 people on one of these "tricycles".
