Something humorous or silly that you've done camping

Years ago, running late, campground is probably full, but let's try. Pulled into Faria Beach campground in Ventura, CA. Surprisingly, the entire front row, nearest to the ocean was empty! We had our pick of prime spots. Did our trailer chores and hit the sack.

About 2am I'm awakened by the roar of the ocean. Opened the door and water was almost to the step. Got dressed, hitched up and moved to the back of the lot. Listened to the news that night and heard about the extra high tides on the west coast!
