OP here - When we first arrived we asked for a site reassignment as we knew the site was tight. They said they had no where to put us as they have reservations ( they allow reserved sites).
So that was part of the reason for not asking to move and just stick it out hoping they'd leave soon. You know the feeling, how much worse can it get, well it did. Besides the campground staff observed a time when the dogs lunged at walkers and said nothing to them. I probably couldn't get another site as we were told they were reserved. It would have meant leaving for another campground.
So it was complain and have 4 angry adults we would have to deal with until they left ( they were already mocking our polite requests to curb there dogs on their camp site while urinating ). Dealing with arrogant inconsiderate boozers isn't fun, and I'm not a young buck anymore and confrontation with people like that usually ends up badly.
They're gone today as I type this. They cooked bacon every day for 7 people. Today they dumped there huge camp frying pan ( about 20"diameter) with about 1/2" of grease in the fire pit. They swept the ashes outside the pit on top of that grease and covered it with trash. I'm not making this up folks. It is sitting there smoldering for the next guy. The grease is seeping through the ashes like a tar pit.
