Spare Tire Mounted Under Trailer?

My Rig did not come with a spare tire mount. I picked up a Spare Tire Hoist similiar to the one for my F250. My plan is to mount the tire under the trailer. My question, do I have enough room? I thought those of you that have their spares mounted under their trailers might be able to compare.. The tire will be 10 3/4 inches from the ground, 3 1/2 feet from the rear axle and 6 1/2 feet from the rear bumper or end of the trailer..

    I mounted mine under the front of my trailer. I ordered the hoist from lippert. I have some pictures somewhere but can't find them. Never had any problems with mine. Go for it....

    I'll bet the end of your sewer outlet hangs lower than that tire. I would think, unless you take your camper mountain climbing, you'll have plenty of clearance. My car has only about 5 inches and I've never skinned the bottom. I think you're good too go.
