Operating a ST above its max speed rating for long periods is just one issue and not the smoking gun that some seem to think as evident from most who never speed and still have issues.
Made in china? hell when ST tires were made in the USA we still had the same issues....so thats not "the" smoking gun either. We have some excellent P and LT tires made in china.
JMO but when the old tech ST tires are gone from mfg warehouses and off the dealers shelves and their gone of the roads....then the new gen higher speed rated ST tires should be a vast improvement for trailer owners (rv and non rv trailers). Higher speed rating gives us a tire that can better cope with heat generated at speed.
Meantime till the old tech maypops are all used up some folks will continue to have tire issues with rv and non rv trailers.
