I think 90% of tire blowouts are caused by ignorant people not following the directions. Forget the fact it's made in china, tire pressure, and tire speed ratings are IMO the number one cause of pre-mature wear and blowouts, hands down.
I'd have to agree. Probably more than people will admit. Myself, I keep speeds to 65, no rush no hurrying, just a nice easy relaxing drive to get where I'm going. Life is too short to rush through it in my opinion. I'll still get there, I might be 15-20 min behind but I'll still get there and be I bet, much more relaxed when I do!! That's a lot of the problems these days is everyone is in a darn big hurry...what for, so you can get another 15 minutes of camping...not worth it.
Typical closed minded "retiree" mentality, IMO. It's awesome if you're not on a schedule, but unlike you, some of us still are. With 2 kids in 3 competitive sports, 60+ HR work weeks and a 3-4 hour round trip commute, helping/ supporting another family member's children and ALL the requisite duties in volved with maintianing a home....or 2. I have the opposite view. Life's too short to take your time. 15 minutes doesn't sound like much, but when on a real road trip, that's more like 2-4 hours of additional travel time.
But its my mentality and I'm proud of it!! Some day you'll see the light...Lol! Until then enjoy beating me to wherever. I'll get there and still have plenty of time to enjoy drinking a few cold ones.
