Speed traps Fl hwy 301
Most people know that the towns of Lawtey and Waldo in Fl on US Hwy 301 are speed traps. I just read another article that adds Hampton in Bradford County, on US Hwy 301 to this list.

- If you are speeding you, deserve a ticket.
I drive 301 all the time and I am always amazed at the jerks that are over the speed limit, with those signs clearly posted.
Jack L - Hope you are not speeding in your RV! We keep it reasonable and within speed limits...however have seen some rv'ers booking it like they were driving a sports car.
- You know, its not like its posted or anything and you are warned repeatedly that the speed limit is strictly enforced.
- Sorry, but these are not "speed traps". How can you claim a town is a speed trap when they post a sign just before the city limits, at least 5' x 10' in size that says in very large bold letters, "Speed strictly enforced in this town". The cops don't hide to run their radar, they set in the open in clearly marked cruisers and you call it a "Speed Trap", I think not.......
