St George Island Florida - driving your UTV?

My BIL lives on St. George and yes it is dog friendly but your other activity won't be allowed.
We go there a lot, our dogs love the beach but your going to have to hoof it.
Try over Daytona way.

I would just give the park a call and ask. They can also likely tell you if the island roads are UTV friendly. (850) 927-2111

I believe to use it inside the park it will have to be licensed. It's been a while since I read the FSP regulations. At a minimum they require certain safety features.

Thanks for the link. If you read it, the restrictions are in one subdivision (Plantation) and driving directly on the beach. However, folks say golf carts and the like are being used on the roads - just not the main drag. That is what we intend.

Let's hope not. St. George is a beautiful barrier island that doesn't need anymore degradation of it's dunes and natural areas. lizzie

Florida is VERY anti ATV/UTV, even in the rural counties. Our place is in the farm country and it is illegal to ride them on the roads or even on the shoulders. Private property or designated ATV parks only.
