Guys you are ruining his Christmas gift... it might be a great BBQ and work out just fine for John.
He can't return the xmas gift from his wife....
My thoughts exactly. Kind of mean.
He did asked for comments, didn't he?
OP'er here. Yes I did ask for comments. And thanks to all that commented. Some of you commented exactly as I would have thought you would. I asked for this grill specifically on the recommendation of a friend who has one. We have camped with them and seen his in action. I have looked at the Weber series of grills. Honestly don't see where they are worth the extra money.
But, I got what I asked for and I am a Happy Camper!!!! Now anxiously awaiting for spring. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
Thanks for the follow up.
I sort of thought just like you. This stainless steel model looks fine why spend more?
If you get a chance to try a Weber Q try it and compare to the stainless steel model. You will see there noticeable difference in how effectively they cook.
In the end they will both cook the food but a Weber Q will be easier on the cook and the food will turn out better.
Whatever you decide enjoy your grill and Merry Christmas to you as well.
