I had this issue when traveling. The back for the light will accept a screw. That solved the problem.
Got mine at Harbor Freight and they work great to light up dark closets.

I don't use the stick up tape ever. Just place them around. I screwed only one long stick type above the kitchen hallway leading to the back of the MH for if the power went out. It lights up the whole MH.
