We picked up some of those stick-on lights at the grocery store "As seen on TV". Put them up at home, between the storm door and the interior door. Our garage is not attached to the house and coming home after dark, IT'S DARK! and hard to find the key hole. (We live in country). I looked for a cheap, easy way to get a light, and decided on the "As seen on TV" stick on lights, the individual ones, and it's been there for almost a year now. Still works great. I did (or am still in the process of) remodeling our family room. When I had the walls apart and down to studs, I rewired the outside light and put a 3 way switch, so outside I now have a regular light switch for that outside light and a switch inside. Don't need the stick-on any more, but it's still hanging there. Never took it down. Actually, just this morning I tapped it to see if it still worked, and it does. It's been there for about a year now.
Go cheap .. "As seen on TV" stick-on work pretty good. ... so do the "greenies" frying pans. Forget those cell phone stick on things with the arm that affixes to your windshield. They fall off ... waste of money.
