Looks like we will get a little bit of it, but typically we have to pay federal taxes, so we will basically send it right back.
I wish they had used it for people directly affected by this. So far we are working from home, and spending less, hardly any gas, and not eating out as much. My daughters college has gone online, and will be refunding about half her dorm fee and meal plan. Our favorite local restaurant has closed down, and won’t be reopening. They were struggling, and this was the nail in the coffin. I feel bad not eating out much, but we really enjoy cooking, and now we have time too.
