STINK IN BATHROOM

Fill a 5 gallon pail with water and pour it down the toilet as fast as you can. Do it a couple times and it will help break up the dreaded poop pyramid if you have one.

Sometimes I get a wad of paper stuck in the line. I can see it when I flush. No matter how long I hold the handle down the water just isn't enough to push the wad through. That's when I hold the handle half way as if doing a #2. I let the bowl fill almost completely up and then push the handle all the way down. That large flush of water usually pushes the wad of paper through.

Just something that might be happening to you.

Our coach has two vents in the cabinet under the sink. They are meant to be one-way, but they can fail and become two-way. If present, they will likely be black and will terminate an ABS pipe coming through the floor into the cabinet. If one fails, that means tank fumes in your bathroom. I removed mine today for inspection and replacement.

Have you used any additive to freshen the odor. About every 2 fills I add the recommended amount of a odor eliminator. I also flush at least twice after dumping the black tank. Add the appropriate amount of the odor eliminator fluid to the recommended amount of water and flush down the toilet.

It's been dumped, twice.
This morning put a lot of water down there, drove 150 miles and dumped the second time. Still smells. I'll fill completely with water and dump again..
It seems some people need to get out of mommy's basement.

You might have the infamous poop pyramid. A good black tank flush might do the trick.

Check for blockage down the vent pipe.

Dump the black, then immediately fill the black up with fresh clean water and dump. Close the black valve, add some water and see if it still smells.
