Stony Brook Hospital Long Island, NY info needed

I've stayed for extended periods in 2 hospital parking lots in the mid west, both were free open lots. The only problem I could see was getting thru the maze into the lot esp with a larger motorhome. In addition to, or instead calling the social office, I'd call hospital security and ask where in the parking lot they wanted you to park.
