As Dar said, check with the hospital, we have used the guest house at VCU medical center a couple of times and most other larger hospitals have facilities as well. Call them at (631) 444-7412. With this being a University Hospital they should have a guest house or possibly a hostel arrangement available. Possibly an older Dorm building at the least.
I dont think most hospitals will allow you to park an rv there, there would be concerns over water, both fresh and waste, and setting a precedent which others may abuse in the future.
