I camp mostly in the S.E. We get ants crawling up the power cord, the jacks and onto the roof via tree limbs. Since it rains nearly every day during the summer, powders and sprays just don't seem to last. So, I can't keep them out. When they enter the RV, I feed 'em well, plying them with Terro, which is 5.4% Borax and 94.6% other ingredients (sugar water). It can be a little unnerving to see so many ants at the bait. But, they get their fill and take it back to the nest to feed their friends, neighbors, and the queen. After about three days, I don't have any ants...lol... and neither do my next door neighbors. A bad infestation may take up to about a week. I always have some on-hand for the next battle in another campground. I find Terro at most any hardware store, at Lowes and Home Depot. Comes in liquid traps or one ounce bottles.
