I forgot, usually there is a yard near a manufacturer that buys end of run and left over surplus. Try searching for yards near the plant. Also the parts dept might know. - myredracerExplorer IIchallengerdoor.com makes RV compartment doors and every door is built to order. They sell to the public too.

I have two and so far they have never leaked. I like your solution if it ever does.
