Several years ago, I met a couple from the U.K. who were about to put there RV in storage for the winter, and return to the U.K. They planned to come back in the Spring and resume their trip around the United States.
We met them in the KOA near Spokane, WA.
IIRC, they were on their third winter. No problems were ever encountered.
