storing rv on gravel, is this bad for my tires?

I park my rv on gravel in a storage lot, is this bad for the tires?
I have noticed some units are parked on a small piece of rubber, is this helpful?
Any comments would be welcomed.

    I don’t think there would be a problem on gravel, but some say to put them on something so they are supported and elevated so they’re not sitting in water or something like that…

    Mine is parked on 2x8’s on gravel at my base site…
