Storing travel trailer in a metal building

I’m looking into having an enclosed metal building built to store my travel trailer (and other things).

I have an estimate on a stick built that is twice the price and trying to determine if a metal building is suitable. I’ve heard they have a tendency to sweat on the inside from the roof and are extremely hot in the summer.

Anyone have a metal building and can comment?

  • I have a 40x50 metal building. I have never had a problem with Sweating. There are roof vents in the center peak and on each end. I don't have it insulated but there is a cement floor.
  • I have a metal sheathed pole building. When built is has a vapor barrier installed under the roof. No sweating!
A steel framed building should have a vapor barrier at least in the roof area.
I have put insulation and plywood on the interior walls.
