stove hood lite

Guess what. The little silver button, Ain't a button. It's part of the mount. Any way. Getting it back in, is just as bad as getting it out.

OK I went back out, and got it. There seems to be a little silver button on the socket. I just kind of squeezed it, and the bulb came STRAIGHT out. Still tight though. It looks like a little 4 watt bulb. Like the ones used in the lawn sidewalk lining lights.

I laid a mirror down on the stove, and shone a flash lite on the bulb. so I could see it.

Do you pull straight or twist and pull? I'm having the same problem.

Once I removed the translucent panel so I could get to the bulb I had a heck of a time pulling the bulb out of the socket. It was so difficult to pull out I was afraid it was going to break and cut me but it finally came out
