I was thinking about putting a brush gard on the front of my '01 Excursion and asked my insurance guy if that would affect my cost. He said that if the company found out about it, they might raise tha rates as having one of those actually affects the speed of deployment and increase the possibility of more serious injury. It also can cause more damage to the other vehicle.
