..."we left our matches and paper to start a fire at home". They were a very nice family and I took some fire starters and igniter over to them along with a couple nice pieces of dry wood. Certainly felt for them as the weekend was a wet one.
Sounds to me like they were new at camping. You may have just saved the dreams of a family who wants to start camping regularly. Good for you!:C
