We had a dog that on occasion needed a second bag on a longer walk. I would always toss the first one as soon as I could. Eventually I learned to bring two+ bags every walk.
We gave some very wet tenters fire one trip. I wet a brown paper bag, to stop it from burning, then put hot coals in it. I was able to carry to coals about 50 feet to their site. We piled kindling on top and had a good fire going pretty quick.
We always have an extra chair or two, but they are for people we invite to join us at the fire.
This past weekend the people I was with ran out of propane. We cooked breakfast in our rig. Last year they ran out of battery power, so all their food came into our rig.
