Back in my Boy Scout Days, I have been asked to borrow:
Tent Pole Grease, Dehydrated Water and/or a Left-Handed Smokeshifter.
Unfortunately, I did not bring any of those items with me, but I was only too happy to suggest a neighboring campsite where they could try their luck.
