As a camp host I have been asked for about everything. Loaned tools, electric cord, sewer hose, water hose. Never, ever had anyone break or damage anything. Last year I had a middle aged couple pull in with an obviously new TT. After some effort they got backed into a site but they were having a tough time leveling up. I stopped by and helped them level and while I was there he asked about his water heater, it wasn't heating water even though the TT was plugged in. Of course it was gas only so I showed him the switch, still wouldn't light. Have you turned the gas on??? nope, now it will light. Told him I always light the stove burner to purge any air out of the line. She turns on the burner, no fire just gas smell. I turned it off and asked her for a lighter...no lighter...so I lent them one of mine. When they left they stopped by to return my lighter, and thank me, and they brought an extra lighter with a note attached that said "for you to lend to the next set of newbies." Lending stuff is just part of the CH job.
