- YC_1NomadLooks like a piece of a pull down awning strap. Perhaps if you have one and it was replaced or repaired at some time this part had torn off and landed there.

Looks like a seat belt. Our sofa has seatbelts, apparently not used as they were laying on the floor under the sofa when we got the motorhome. We would have to feed them thru the sofa back/seat area for them to be used. Wonder if yours was long enough it got under the slide and caught.
Not a seat belt. It's a travel trailer. - doxiemom11Explorer IILooks like a seat belt. - Hank_MIExplorerNot sure but maybe to pull the slide in with. Our MH has a strap under the couch. It also came with a boat type strap winch that hooks over the steps on the other side. If the hydraulics fail you use it to pull the slide in. Just a guess.
- acritzerExplorer III'm tempted to take the staple out and shove it back, but I really have no idea what it is.
I'm also wondering if this might have something to do with the fact that a section of the rubber seal is no longer attached to the body. Sometimes it gets caught and rolls out further than it is suppose to.
