Stromberg Carlson A frame carrier CC-255

Good evening guys,
Wondering how many of you are using the Stromberg Carlson A frame carrier CC-255. I am looking to invest on one of them to carry my generator on my hideout 31RBDS.
Our last TT I was carrying on the back bumper which it was reinforce; with the new TT i do not feel comfortable carrying on the rear bumper it does not feel as sturdy and will take too much to reinforce. Right now i have a cargo carrier which i use to carry floor mats and out door rugs.
Any thoughts on the CC-255.

Thank you.

Yes sir, just order one 15 minutes ago. $30 less than other sites and RVupgrades.com is a Google trusted store so my order is protected by them.
Looks like i found my new RV supply store.
    Thanks

Got the carrier yesterday, took only two days to get here. Thanks for your help.

    thanks again.
  • 1. I have had to move a few things. On my old RV I had to relocate the break away switch about an 1" forward. Nothing major, and a lot of flexibilty in where you mount it.

    2. No. I've actually climbed up on it and waked the cap (parts I can reach) using it as a scaffold, no movement.

    3. No. On the first RV I had I mounted it front of the batteries. It was very close to the snatch up brackets, and I had to be creative in pulling them up the last little bit. This time I mounted it behind the batteries and its got really zero impact on anything. While it did add some tongue weight, actually everything tows better with the extra weight. No adjustments were made.

    4. No problem, even the 30lb tanks I have come out with ease. If you want to cover the tanks you have to use a flexible cover, or make your hard cover something that can be disassembled. Myself I just run without the cover.
  • Good morning apr67, i noticed we have the same type floor plan in our TT.

    need to know:

any changes or modifications to wiring when installing the tray?
any vibration or shifting while on the road?
any major changes on your WD while on the road?
Do you always keep your P tanks without the cover and how difficult is to take them out to refill them? (we usually have to take our tanks to have them filled)
    Thanks in advance
    Luis
