Stuck clear sewer fitting

Hi. I hope someone has had this problem. I have searched the threads though and haven't found a topic where it is covered.

Anyway, on a 1999 Coachmen Class C MH, I have had a clear fitting (a 45 degree elbow) attached to the collector tube at the end of the gray/black water disposal systems. This is after the dump valves. Without this clear elbow, this is where you would connect the sewer dump flexible hose. The elbow has the typical bayonet fitting. The "bayonets" are on the fixed and permanent exit pipe connected to the dump valves. After a year or so this elbow has become stuck and can't be removed, at least by hand.

I am interested in thoughts about how to remove it. Essentially can I remove or loosen it without busting the fitting that is permanently attached to the rig. ssentially, I can still drive the rig as the elbow doesn't protrude much, but I would like to be able to remove it. I guess if I have to somehow destroy the clear fitting in the process, that is no big deal.

I will try and post an image if I can figure it out.

thanks in advance
