Ok I'm sure this is a weird question but last time the wife and I went camping for 2 days it was quite boring. When we have the kids and grand kids there is some entertainment. I know some of the issues is me but after 20 years working in the woods I just don't get all that excited about hiking around or riding the ATV all that much, I also spent my weekends fishing so anymore I can take or leave the fish. In the past when tent camping there was more to do but with the camper I am set up in half an hour instead of a few hours and constant messing and adjusting.So besides reading, sleeping and driving around checking things out what do you guys do while out camping?

Find/use RV parks with some activities and get involved. Boredom is a self-inflicted malady. Lots of things to do in this world. Look for cultural things etc.I also spent my career "in the woods" as a State forester. and found retirement/RVing full of new challenges. Emphasis on NEW.

At home we live in the woods and it's a long way to anything. When we go away with the TT we go to places that have things to do. Go to a show, a museum, a race, walk on the beach or just go out to eat. We do stuff we can't do at home.

Sightsee, explore history, play golf or something, go to the ocean, museums, amusement parks, zoos, etc. Think back to when you first met-what did you do then? (Keep it clean!)

I use camping to get out and see things - national parks, archeological sites, etc. There is just so much within a day or two of your location. Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Teton, Washington/Oregon coast, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, Zion, etc., etc. Just too many to list. Get out and see all the amazing sights!
