They are used to keep 'P' traps from getting sucked dry when you dump grey tanks.
Probably have one under bathroom sink also.
Inexpensive and easy to replace. Most any hardware store.
Sorry to bump this old post but I just wanted to let you know I finally was able to work on the trailer a bit and I did find the admittance valve. It was bigger than I thought it was and easy to see once I got under the sink. It was very loosley screwed in. I ran to home depot and they had them for $3.00 or so so I just replaced it. Maybe that was the problem? Thanks again
