Sudden New Smell !!!

My trailer sits in my driveway and is well taken care of. I pluged her in and turned on my fridge and the next day my trailer smells like egg farts! My bathroom does not. Anybody have a thought why this smell all of a sudden? Like I said only thing I did different was turn on the fridge?
Thanks
  • I just topped off my two batteries with distilled water which they were all pretty much full to the top. No smell doing that.
  • Ok I just pulled some grey and I think that was the source of the smell. What can I do to make it smell like kittens and roses again? :)
  • Unplug the RV first and then very carefully check the battery(s) and see if it/they are hot. My guess is that you will find them very hot. One has probably shorted out a cell.
  • Fridge is ice cold so hopfully thats good. Propane tanks are off and have been off for a couple weeks. Batteries? I did jut plug my trailer into shore power when I turned on my fridge.? Front bathroom has no smell and door is closed.
  • Fridge problem is usually an ammonia smell.

    Batteries are rotten egg smell.

    Propane is old shoe smell.

Grey tank also gives off rotten egg smell if the under sink trap dries out (no water in trap to block the smell)

Black Tank is ....well.... a poop smell
  • Just a guess, but is there a chance your low on propane. I had that happen once at my house and I was told sometimes when your propane gets low there is excess chemical left in the tank, the stuff that makes the gas smell like egg farts. I filled my tank and the problem went away. Again...just a guess.
