sunguard windshield cover installations

Is there an easy way to install the covers

  • No, at least not on our 2005 Fleetwood Excursion 39S. We finally got them in stalled, but it wasn't easy. Watch out for the larger magnets, they could cause blood blisters by pinching your fingers, and take off your watch before working with them. Also, because they're so strong, when you separate them, lay them down at least a foot apart or they'll jump to the next magnet and you have to separate them again.

On our MH, to install the top windshield magnets we actually had to take down the wood behind the front windshield cabinets so we could get the magnets installed high enough. An electric screwdriver came in very handy. We also installed them on the driver's side window and the passenger door and side window.

They work very well to keep the sun / heat out once you get them in stalled.
