I know there is a group for people who RV in the South to avoid the harsh winters up North, but what about those of us who want to escape the hot an humid summers in the South / Southeast / Southwest?...

Deb/Ed beat me to it. The Great Lakes are the key to the UP in the summer, specifically Superior which is a deep cold lake.
