The SuperHitch is at its maximum rating if you use the double stinger and ball sold by Torklift. If you use another stinger, it will be at the lowest rating of the stinger or ball you choose. Receiver position is not rated differently by Torklift, but I would assume the upper receiver has less leverage under load.
