You stand a better chance of getting a discussion if you will start a new thread for your question. This thread is not looked at by the regulars on the forum, but rather by people trying to decide on a braking system.
As far as your question,
as of this date, all of the non-proportional sytems in the write-up can be set so as not to activate until a predetermined rate of deceleration has been reached; ie, you can have them activate only on 'hard' stops.
