Great Thread! Wish it was up and running when I was looking for a solution.
I ultimately settled on the M&G system. I was a design engineer for most of my career and I thought the M&G solution was simple and elegant (what every engineer wants from every design). I have had the system installed on a 1999 Lexus RX 300 which we use as a tow. It works perfectly every time, requires no adjustment, no put in/take out, is absolutly proportional (the factory matches spring rates for your vehicle), and significantly helps stop the MH. I would recommend this solution to everyone. Downside is that not all toads can be equipped due to space constraints under the hood.
