Thanks for pointing out the typo. I've corrected it.
I don't use more than very rudimentary surge suppression because I don't believe what is available meets my needs. I'm in a 30 amp RV that is highly modified, including three shore power cords (OEM 30, a 20, and a 15 amp).
I use a hybrid inverter because I'm often at locations that have only a 15 amp circuit. When there is more than one 15 amp I am happy as a clam.
If I were using a 50 amp service, that would be an entirely different matter. At that point I'd get the top of the line unit from progressive. Not because it is necessarily better, but because it does come with a life time warranty.
That said, an autoformer would be of far more use to me, though I can run off the inverter only and use double conversion from the OEM PD converter, if need be.
