swapping propane tanks
I have searched the forums for this topic and cannot locate any information, so please excuse me if this has already been discussed. I am curious about swapping out empty propane tanks for full ones....

Blue Rhino does not "sell" tanks. They are a tank exchange facility. They exchange empty ones for full ones ones. Tanks are standard. You can exchange yours at AmeriGas or any other exchange place.
Exchange is convenient, but more costly than refills. Just be aware that you are only getting 15 pounds in a 20 pound tank. In order not to make drastic price increases, all of them started doing this when the price of propane shot up. You are paying the same price for swapping as you always did, just getting less fuel.
