thirty, you may be using the term "equalizer" wrong.
Equal-i-zer is a name brand of a WDH that has integrated sway control and doesn't use chain links nor friction sway bars that have to be detached when backing up.
it sounds like you have a basic WDH that has cheap friction anti-sway bars which usually have to be detached to back up.
that's one reason we bought the real Equal-i-zer, so we don't have to do that.
