I've had both. New RV had 30's, and camping world Tallahassee acted like douche bags when I asked if they would trade me straight up for 20's. So I have 30's, and I doubt I will have to fill more than 1 tank a year.
But I don't camp in cold cold weather, and the heater is really the only thing that kills the tanks.
One advantage of bigger tanks is that if you are pulling a lot of propane out, the tank will take longer to freeze up than a smaller tank.
