I wasn't paying attention one weekend and ran out of propane Saturday night or Sunday morning. (I have a 5 pounder for the grill so was able to cook in the morning). On the way home I only needed propane for the fridge. Lots of gas stations / 7-11s on the way that I could have just exchanged if I was running 20 pounders, but finding a spot easily accessible with a trailer for a refil wasn't in the cards. I had already been contemplating on changing the 30s for 20s. That trip sealed the deal. I still have my 20 pounders refilled at my local propane shop, but in a pinch I'll over pay for an exchange. If mamas not happy, no ones happy.
