I have a Tahoe 4x4.
I bought a new short lightweight TT. Waay under what the Tahoe was rated for.
Took one trip with the TT, didn't even go all the way to my destination and turned back home and dropped the TT off at the dealership for consignment. Retired the Tahoe to grocery shopping and bought a MH.
That all said. This is what 'I' learned the hard way.
WHEELBASE. THAT is what the issue is. The Tahoe has a short wheelbase. It is the tail wagging the dog all the way with a Tahoe. The Suburban has a longer wheelbase and makes a BIG difference when towing.
